Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teaser this week is taken from "Monster Heart: The Francis Norman Stein Story (Frank N. Stein)"
by Gary Turcotte.
Francis got angry and he crumbled the note between his long fingers; the muscles in his forearms raised as he continued to roll the ball of paper in his grasp. A single tear leaked from Francis' eye; he was hurt and angry, not because he blamed Irene for leaving him, but because she was right and her letter told him the same message that she was telling herself. pg. 32
Wonderful teaser, this!
