Book Description: When wedding planner, Adrielle Pyper, goes to Hawaii to orchestrate a destination wedding, she isn't prepared for what she finds.
After the trauma of her previous event, the beautiful isle of Kauai is the perfect place for Adri to unwind and do what she does best – plan. She even lets herself indulge in the attention of the groom’s handsome brother. But just when everything seems to be perfect, an afternoon snorkeling trip turns to murder when Adri discovers the body of a young woman.
Shaken, but unable to let it go, Adri’s sleuthing leads her into more danger than she could imagine. When a number of “accidents” threaten her own life, it soon becomes apparent that someone will do anything to keep Adri from interfering with their vengeance.

My thoughts: Adri is in the business of making dream weddings happen. She takes the stress and details in her job as a wedding planner.
This is the second book in a series. I really enjoyed Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things and was excited to read more of Adri and the trouble that seems to find her. This book does a great job at explaining the back story of the first. I had forgotten several details and appreciated the reminders. You do not need to read the first to understand the plot, but it would be helpful.
This book takes place in Hawaii. I loved the setting. Rachelle Christensen does a remarkable job at describing the beauty and tourist attractions. Hawaii is on my bucket-list and this book strengthened my desire to go there someday.
The mystery remained a mystery until the end. I kept changing my mind at who I thought was behind the murder. Several suspects seemed likely. The twists and turns kept my interest until the end.
The romance was complicated. Adri has trust issues. The romance was clean and left you hopeful for her future.
This is a great mystery/romance series. I look forward to more!

About the Author: (Taken from her BLOG) I was born and raised in a small farming town in Idaho and I’m a dirt between the toes, irrigation boot-wearing, ponytail flipping in the wind as I drive the 4-wheeler FARM girl all the way!
I’m married to my incredible husband, Steve, and we have four wonderful kids–two girls and two boys and one more on the way.I graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in music. Go Aggies! I love USU–that’s where I met my husband!
I enjoy so much of life–there’s so much to learn and experience. I love reading almost any genre/age group and usually read over 50 books a year from a variety of different authors. I love running, gardening, making cards with rubber stamps, crocheting, playing volleyball, singing, playing the piano, and cooking.
I’ve enjoyed writing for as long as I can remember. As a child, I loved to make up poems and write short stories.I loved daydreaming and writing stories in my head--always carrying on some narrative with a character when I was working in the fields. I used to wish that I could be a cat and sleep in the sun so I wouldn't have to weed the garden. Still sounds kind of nice sometimes!
I am excited to find a new cozy to explore they are my guilty pleasures these days.
