Romantic Comedy series spotlight! by Tamie Dearen

Book ONE ~ Her Best Match:  Anne Best was bored with her life in Texas. But when this feisty forty-five year old starts a new life in the Big Apple working for Gherring Inc., she stumbles into more adventure than she bargained for.

Billionaire Steven Gherring always makes the Most Eligible Bachelors list, but he’s given up looking for love.

Gherring’s grandmother, known to everyone as Gram, is on a not-so-secret campaign to find a wife for her grandson.

When veteran matchmaker, Anne Best, joins forces with Gram to find a wife for Gherring, Steven finds that he’s met his match in more ways than one.

Will they find a match for Gherring? And will Anne take a chance on love?

Filled with lovable characters, lots of romance and frequent plots twists, Her Best Match will have you tingling with anticipation and laughing out loud.

Book TWO ~ Best Dating RulesEmily Best is a stickler for rules, and the Best family has a whole set of rules where dating is concerned. But when Spencer comes into her life, the rules start to unravel.

Spencer has been waiting to meet a very special girl, and he knows Emily is the one. But communication isn't his strong point.

Emily finds herself on unsure footing for the first time in her life, while Spencer runs himself ragged chasing Emily.

With a relationship fraught with misunderstandings, miscommunications, and mistakes, Spencer fears he's missed his chance to make Miss Best his Mrs.

Best Dating Rules will keep you chuckling as you follow the convoluted path of romance, woven with lots of fun characters to love and one good villain to hate.

Note: This book can stand alone, without reading book one, Her Best Match.

Book THREE~ Best Laid Plans: Josh needs a wife right away, and after waiting for Charlie for two futile years, he can’t afford to wait any longer.
By the time Charlie realizes she’s in love with Josh, it’s too late for them to be together. So she sets out to help him find happiness in someone else’s arms.
Soon almost everyone is plotting and planning at cross-purposes, trying to convince Josh whom he should marry. Meanwhile, a buxom nurse schemes to snag the handsome doctor for herself.
Will Josh and Charlie overcome all the odds and find happiness together?

All of your friends from Her Best Match and Best Dating Rules are back in this crazy, confusing, convoluted, comedy of love. Even Gram is back at work with her zany ideas to achieve a happily-ever-after between our star-crossed lovers.
You’ll laugh and cry and laugh some more as you follow your friends on this madcap trip to the inevitable happy ending.

Note: This book can stand alone, but will probably be better after reading book two, Best Dating Rules.

Read an Excerpt!

Guess What??  There is a prequel that you can read for FREE!  I just downloaded a copy from Smashwords.

This fun novella is a teaser and adjunct for Her Best Match, fun to read before or after the first book in the series. It offers a peek inside the mind of billionaire Steven Gherring, a man who is accustomed to being in complete control at all times. His life is going along smoothly, though lacking excitement and challenge.

Just when he thinks nothing could ever surprise him, he encounters Anne Best. Even Gherring is shocked at his reaction to her combination of charm, innocence, and defiance, presented in an guilelessly attractive package.

A quick read with sassy characters and lots of laughs.

It's also FREE at Barnes & Noble

It's 99 cents for Amazon Kindle

About the Author: I don't really write romance novels. I write PG rated Romantic Comedies and Young Adult Fantasy. I love writing. I also love playing musical instruments, singing, song-writing, and painting. My day job involves a bit of sculpting and carving.

I live with my very romantic husband of thirty-one years. Although our daughters are grown and married, we've never had an empty nest. The house is constantly full of young people. Some are temporary residents. Some come to share meals or swim. Some just come to hang out. But the constant flow of young folks in and out of the house brings joy and excitement to our home and inspiration for writing.

I met my husband as a freshman in college when I acted out of character on a whim. One night in the library lobby, I spied a cute guy with his first name written on the back of his shirt. I called out his name. When he approached to talk to me, I pretended that I'd met him before, asking about his classes and how he liked college. To my surprise and delight, he also pretended that he knew me, but of course he didn't know my name. We continued this false relationship for two months. Each time we saw each other, an event that occurred three times per week at the cafeteria, he would pretend he knew me. Meanwhile, all of my friends were careful not to reveal my name to him. When he finally admitted his ignorance of my name, he was astonished to learn the truth. And the rest is history.
