My thoughts: I have wanted to read this book since I first saw it when it came out.  The synopsis drew me in and it has some great reviews from several of the bloggers that I follow.  I also have a huge fascination with nephilim and angels.

My only question is, why did I wait so long to read the book? That's the hard part of book blogging, not having time to read the books that I want to read for fun.

 Claudia is caught in the conflict between the angels and the fallen.  She had the unique ability to go to the crossroads, a place in between Earth and Heaven.  She shouldn't be there.  She shouldn't know how to get there.  But night after night, her dreams take her there.  Her access to the crossroads puts her in jeopardy. She becomes a beacon that attracts the fallen.  Now, she must be assigned a guardian angel, Michael.  The one who has loved her from afar.  Love between them is forbidden.

I had fun reading this book.  There is action and romance.  Even though love is forbidden it doesn't stop Michael and Claudia's feelings for each other the steamy kisses that come with the feelings.  I enjoy Mary Ting's writing style.  It is straight forward and interesting.  She pulls the story together without getting sidetracked on side stories.

This is a series that I plan on following and reading.  Now I can, because she has two more books out and I don't have to wait for the next installment!
