MY Thoughts:  This is a cute and sweet story.  The characters have both had a lot of heartache and suffer trust issues.  The story is one of forgiveness and learning get to love again.

I found the story to be well written and a pleasure to read.  I am writing and getting this post ready to publish using slow wi-fi in  KOA away from home.  I will try to write a better review when I am home and not worried about auto correct.

I am moving giving this book 4 out of 5 stars.  My thanks to Prismatic book tours for providing easy to use and copy info for this  post. 😓

I am home with reliable wi-fi and my laptop.  I thought I had read through the above review carefully before posting, because I am notorious for missing auto correct on my phone.  I am leaving the typo, just to illustrate my point.  It is Prism book tours, not Prismatic!!! (Aye, aye, aye)

I enjoyed the story of  Luke and Cassie.  Both of them are down to earth people, in-spite of their fame.  They have a connection with their community and really want to help the people who need them.  They are genuinely likable characters.

The romance is sweet.  It is not too intense and not instant love.  The characters are cautious and get to know each other before expressing feelings of devotion, or  kissing.  I loved the pacing of the story, most of the characters, and the compassion shown.

This is a wonderful book to pick up for the summer, sit on the porch, go to the beach, camping, or picnic.  However you like to relax and and enjoy a book. :)

My Thoughts; A well written Regency Romance is always a delight to read.  There are reasons that I am a fan of the genre and this book didn't disappoint me.  I love the formality, flirting banter, society gossip, and maneuvering matrons.  The best part is when there is a strong female who refuses to be governed by society, in this case it is Miss Ellison.

This book caught my attention right from the beginning.  Miss Ellison doesn't relegate chores to the servants and is mistaken for one when she first meets the Earl of Hawkesbury.  Not a good way to make a first impression. I love that the characters are flawed.  I enjoyed the depth of faith and the Christian acts of Miss Ellison. Yes, I am gushing because this book has a lot to offer readers.

My thoughts: This book is split up in three parts. Basically the first part is Jane falling in love with Sean. Jane then telling Sean that she is going on a church mission. The second is events that happened to both Jane and Sean while she was away. The third is Jane deciding to fight for Sean so they can be a "happily-ever-after." None of that is a spoiler because it's in the book description.

The book is really about the emotions that come from commitment, integrity, friendship, and love. Jane and Sean have to explore their feelings throughout most of the book. Neither of them take their decisions lightly. I felt that the book centered on more what you would sacrifice for love, be it romantic love or a love of religious beliefs.

There were a few parts that made me uncomfortable, I knew what the characters should do, but  the author had them come to their own conclusions. There was one character that I thought was a big manipulator, so she was not on my favorite person list.

This is a cute book that is centered around religious beliefs, even though it didn't come across as preachy. The characters were living lives with faith.  It was fun to catch up with a few characters from previous novels.  While the books contain the same characters, each stands alone.

This book is clean with kissing.

My thoughts: Oh my goodness. I love Elodia Strain's voice in this book. The writing is fun and entertaining. She kept me turning the pages and wanting to know how things were going to work out for Gabby. Not only is Gabby a fun and quirky MC, she has a great support group, who also have their quirkiness.

I remember the world of dating and finding love. It is not an easy path, but Gabby's seems a little harder than most. She handles it with a lot of sarcasm and self deprecating humor. She mentions in a few places that she has the worst luck out there. She is a college graduate working as a phone call fortune teller. She is broke, has been dumped, and is now going the dating experiment to earn some much needed money.

This is a light read that is full of humor.

My Thoughts: Sarah Eden has an amazing way with words.  If you have never read one of her books, pick up one, you won't regret it.  This would be a good one to start with.  Technically, this is book four of a series, but each can stand on it's own.

A Fine Gentleman  is full of humor.  There are many giggle out loud moments.  The way that Mariposa manipulates Jason is amazing.  You have a hard time figuring out who she really is inside.  She plays a role.  She has learned how to pretend to be someone else to stay alive and get the help that she needs.  She has been through a lot of painful experiences, but she is strong and a woman who is on a mission for her family.  She is a force to be reckoned with.

Jason is also a complex character.  He tries to be serious and responsible.  He is a bit stiff, and Mariposa brings out some of his hidden traits.  He tries so hard to be a gentleman and to fit in his family of brothers.  I loved that Mariposa could bring him out of his stuffiness.


This is a book that draws you in from the beginning and doesn't let go until you are finished.  It is a clean Regency Romance!
