A Woman's Power: Threads that Bind Us to God by Fay A. Klingler
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Source: Received an electronic copy to review
Genre: Non Fiction Inspiration
Description from Goodreads: In today's chaotic world, most women feel like they're hanging on by a single, ever-fraying thread. But the gospel teaches us differently. As daughters of God, we're blessed with lifelines from above. All we have to do is reach up and grab hold of them. The author simply and beautifully illustrates which threads have the strength and power to carry women of virtue to safety, peace, and lasting happiness. This inspiring work will help you hold fast to the divinity within you, as you learn just how powerful a faithful woman can be.
My thoughts: This book is a well written non fiction book that helps women see the potential that they have in life and through the eternities.
Fay Klingler has taken her own experiences and the experiences of other women to help inspire and instruct on living a life that is closer to God. She helps the reader understand what it truly means to be a child of God.
She also helps us to understand and identify unhealthy relationships. She strives to help women understand that they are more valuable than many think that they are.
This is a very inspiring book. I think any woman who wants to know more about her relationship with God would benefit from the words she has penned.
