My thoughts: This beautiful book of poetry reminds me that there is hope even when circumstances are bleak.
Julianne Donaldson is a talented author. I have read and loved her novels. In this book, she shows that she is diverse in her writing skills. She takes a moment and lets the reader know why she wrote her poems, the circumstances, and how she was feeling. I appreciate her insight and her testimony of the Savior.
This is a perfect book for anyone who is undergoing trials, or if you just want something to uplift you spirit.

About the Author: Julianne Donaldson grew up as the daughter of a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot. She learned how to ski in the Italian Alps, visited East Berlin before the wall came down, and spent three years living next to a 500-year-old castle.
