I've been distracted from reading lately.

Some may have noticed that I haven't been posting as many reviews lately. I am behind and not finishing my review books by posting time. I can finally share why. My daughter just got engaged and the wedding will happen in two months!

My thought are consumed with this change in my family. I am finding it hard to read and get things done in a timely manner. Hopefully after October 6th, I will get back on schedule.

Thanks. The problem is I'm trying to get things ready for the wedding and she just wants to hang out with her fiancee. I think I was that way with my parents also.

I get my books from a variety of locations. I buy them, I win them in contests on Goodreads, Library Thing, or other blog giveaways . I check them out from the library. I may also get them to review from publishers or authors. I take each book, and decide if I like it, based on the book, not the location from which it is recieved. I will be honest in my reviews, and only recommend books on their quaility and content. I am not required to give a positive review in exchange for a book.

I am not paid to review, I do it because I love reading. I also like to pass on good books to my friends.
