My thoughts: This book is part of a fun series. I love how each of the ladies are down to earth and you can imagine as a friend. I also enjoy how there is crossover from the books between the characters. While this is a series of books, you can read each as a stand alone and enjoy the story. It is better when you read them in order because you have the history and background.
Haley wins an amazing trip to an Island retreat. The person she brings with her is her very cute little boy. As a working single mom it is hard for her to find time to spend with him. He is accident prone. Before they even check in, he falls down the stairs and a handsome man (who happens to be the owner) comes to her rescue, upgrading her room and checking up on them. There is immediate attraction.
I laughed in several spots of the book. It is very cute book. I adored her son, Taz. He is a loving boy who is a huge flirt. Cal (the owner) is a perfect match for Haley and Taz. He is not pretentious. He honestly cares about people.
This book is pretty much an instant-love book. Even thought Haley really fights her feelings. I couldn't help but cheer them on and hope they could overcome the obstacles that try to keep them apart.
This is a clean romance with some kissing.
