My thoughts: There are many good things in this book. It is fast paced and action packed. There is travel, hostage negotiations, spies, military men, suspense, romance, etc.
Claire meets Rafe in a hostage negotiation situation. Rafe's friend has a bomb attached to him and they are struggling to find a way to disarm the bomb and have a happy ending to the situation. This leads to Claire and Rafe teaming up to discover who is behind the bomb. A new hostage situation takes them from the US to Afghanistan.
The book has some great action and suspense moments. The attraction is insta-love as Claire and Rafe find themselves in some intense moments during a short period of time.
This book could have been edited better. (I read the Smashwords edition.) I had a problem with some obvious typos. The book contains violence and kissing.
