The more her alter ego starts to make headlines, the harder it becomes for Jamie to hide her extracurricular activities from her best friend, the government, radical scientists, and the mysterious new guy who is determined to steal her from her boyfriend.
My thougths: This book takes you on a roller coaster ride. There are many events that add excitement and thrill, nice easy straight ways, but different from a roller coaster, the end adds more excitement when you are ready to wind down. Major cliff hanger at the end!
I enjoyed reading about Jamie Baker and her struggle to make sense of her life. In this story, she uses her powers to help people. This makes her an even bigger target for the scientists who are after her to use her as an experiment and test subject.
Her relationship with Ryan is fun. They have a great chemistry together and I really like him as a character. A little wrench is thrown in with the introduction of a new character who would like to have Jamie for himself.
This is a great sequel. After the ending that was thrown at me, I am anxiously awaiting book 3.
