My thoughts: There are a couple of points that I want to make before I review this book. First - there had better be more books about Jack and Damon! I know it's up to the author's discretion, but dang it, I want more! Second - I could see this series as a mini-series or made for TV movie. I swear I would be laughing out loud.
What can I say other than "Jack rocks!" I love her character. It's been so long since I read the last book that I forgot how fantastic she is. Damon is OK when compared to Jack. But he is pretty great too. Her naivety makes her unbelievable effective. Picture this scene from the book. (I think this is spoiler free). Picture Jack dressed up in a blonde wig, trying to fake a German accent while trying to German folk dance in a seedy bar. It's got to be one of my favorite scenes from the book. Her inner dialogue made me chuckle. Seriously, you must read it to get the Jack effect.
I'm raving, I know. I just can't get over how much I loved this book.
This book contains non-graphic violence, religious references, kissing, behind closed doors marital relations, mayhem, and mischief.
