I started book blogging four years ago and my first hop was this one. It was my first giveaway.

It's still football season and fall baseball is just coming to an end at my house. With two kids playing, we have been running from one practice/game to another. I will make this easy and hopefully fun for someone to win.

The Highwayman, maybe. It's the content combined with the cadence that makes it so eerie. Or maybe it was just how my 6th grade social studies teacher read it :-P

ReplyDeleteI have a lot of favorites when it comes to spooky stories, but my current all time fav would have to be the Demonata Series by Darren Shan. It is an amazing series! It will scare you to death and keep you up at night.

ReplyDeleteIt's an old ghost story my grandma used to tell me. It was that a woman drowned her children out of grief bc her husband left her. She then drowned herself so they could be together forever. Supposedly she haunts the river were the incident occurred and will appear at night searching for her children.
