Book Description: Placing her baby girl for adoption isn’t the mistake Ally is running away from, but everyone else seems to think it is. As Ally tries to move forward in her life, her past keeps pulling her back, and she wonders if she will ever find true love again. Only holding onto hope can help Ally find the peace she’s seeking.

My thoughtsDiscovering Peace is beautifully written. It takes on some hard and heart wrenching subjects and brings them to life in a way that I found empathy and understanding.

I had the opportunity to read Delivering Hope. I loved reading about Ally's decision to put her daughter up for adoption. I also enjoyed getting to know Olivia and Michael, the adoptive parents. They also had a rough time before the held their little baby girl.

This book takes a step beyond the first book. It is about the healing that happens after an adoption. It deals with the emotions of giving up a child and the emotions of adoptive parents who have struggled with infertility.

The most important message of the book is the peace that Christ's atonement can bring. It's learning to trust Him with our burdens and moving on with life in a productive and positive direction.

This book doesn't leave the reader with a complete happy ending. It leaves the reader with hope. It leaves the reader with a sense of love and most of all forgiveness.
