Books With Love Hop

Thanks to Good Choice Reading and Once Upon a Twilight for being wonderful hosts to all of us and organizing this event.

For this hop, I have two packages.  One is International and one is US only. There will be two winners. You can enter to win one, or enter for both packages if you live in the US, but there will be two separate winners. (Adding clarification, because I guess I didn't word it properly. Sorry for any confusion.)

Package #1 (Internationa)
Package #2 (US only)
The first choice is International.   It includes the following:

Spring Muslin by Georgette Heyer  Sir Gareth Ludlow is a sought-after bachelor in London high society; wealthy, noble, handsome… and brokenhearted since the death of his true love many years ago.

Resigned to remarry, Sir Gareth solicits the hand of a woman he respects and admires, Lady Hester Theale. But fate takes an impish turn when, on his way to ask for Lady Hester, Sir Gareth encounters a saucy young lady who identifies herself as "Amanda Smith."
Amanda is alone and unchaperoned, and her imaginative tales take on a life of their own, sweeping up Sir Gareth, Lady Hester and several other hapless victims in a series of unexpected adventures. And no one, especially Sir Gareth, will ever be the same again.…Description from GoodReads

I loved this book.  I could imagine it on stage as a comedy of errors.

Una Ragazza Tutta D'Oro by Rachel Ryan  Personally, I have no idea what that title says.  If you read Italian, you do!  It belongs on your shelf and not mine. (Or on the shelf of someone you may know who reads Italian and likes romance.)  This edition is signed by the author and in great condition.

Package #2 for US entrants only includes:

.My Ridiculous, Romantic Obsessions by Becca Wilhite  Sarah Howard's first year at the university is everything and nothing she expected especially when a very cute boy named Ben in her Art History class starts to show interest in her.

Sarah feels like she's an average, normal, everyday girl. So, when Ben (to whom she secretly refers as Adonis because she thinks he could be a Greek god) begins to take interest in her, Sarah is in denial. For one thing, last year she was deeply crushed and humiliated by Jesse James a guy who she thought liked her.

She's determined not to get burned again. But in her heart of hearts, what she really wants is a Jane Austen kind of romance. Ridiculous, right? That kind of romance doesn't exist anymore . . . or does it? Sarah is smart and fun to be around and even pretty, despite her Medusa-like red curls. She even plays the guitar. (So does Ben!) Yes, Sarah is everything Ben has wanted. He's crazy for her, but Sarah is just not getting it. She's playing hard to get, and if she s not careful, she s going to lose a real hot gentleman -- her 21st-century Mr. Darcy.

There are scenes in this book that still make me giggle, and it has been awhile since I read this book!

There you have it!  You must be a follower to enter.  Pick one venue to follow: GFC, Networked Blogs, or twitter.  All three options are found in the right side bar.  It will be +1 entry for each, but only one to enter. (Clear as mud?)  Fill out the form. You do not need to comment, but if you could translate the title of the Italian book?  I'm curious to find out the title.

For the US you must be 13 or older to enter and the International 17, because I do not know the content of the Italian book.  Please have a reliable address.  I cannot be held responsible for lost or missing items.

You can choose to enter for one, or if you live in the US for both.  Thanks for stopping by and good luck!

  3. Thanks for the giveaway and happy valentine's day!!!

  4. Dear Lisa,

"Una Ragazza Tutta D'Oro" means "A Golden Girl" in Italian. Or for a transliteration, it literally means "A Girl Completely (or All) of Gold". I took some lessons in Italian, at one point in time - hope this helps.

Thanks for hosting such a wonderful giveaway, and Happy Valentine's Day.

  5. Thanks for the opportunity to win. GFC follower under Lucky47.
