Tide Ever RisingTide Ever Rising by Mandi Tucker Slack
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Source: Received from the author to review
Genre: Romantic Suspense

Book Description:  Kadence Reynold’s favorite pastime is exploring old ghost towns. When she and her sister, Maysha stumble across an old journal and cheap pendant hidden in the depths of a crumbling foundation near Eureka, Utah, their world is suddenly turned upside down. Immediately, strange dreams and premonitions begin to haunt “Kadie” as she learns more about the keeper of the journal, Charlotte Clark. Kadie sets out on a journey to learn more about Charlotte and her family, and she and Maysha travel to Bremerton, Washington, where they discover Charlotte's still living twin sister, Adelaide and her family.

My thoughts:  Kadie loves history. She loves to visit old ruins and take her finds back to her students. While looking at a burned out home in Eureka, Utah, she stumbled across an old coffee can with a journal and necklace. This find leads her on an adventure to find the family of the girl who wrote the journal and give it to them.

She didn't plan on the visitations that she received from the ghost of the girl. She didn't plan on her attraction to the grandson of the ghosts sister. She didn't plan on opening a can of worms that would lead to suspense and hidden secrets.

I enjoyed this book. It is very interesting and well written. The characters came to life for me and I was able to find myself viewing the story in my mind.

This is a clean romance/suspense book.
