Colleen's Thoughts: After learning that the author was 16 years old when the book was written, I was a little skeptical. However, I was gloriously surprised by her writing abilities. It is hard to believe it was written by someone so young. She writes with such emotional depth. She has the ability to portray her characters in a startlingly realistic way. I was completely enraptured from the beginning to the end. Cayla Kluver is a wonderful story-teller and beautifully eloquent. I was sad the book was over. I eagerly anticipate the remaining books in the trilogy and anything else she may write in the future.
